had a lovely weekend! Ours included yard
work, cleaning house, opening day for Preston’s baseball season, and preparing for a little change around our home...me starting back to work. Today
I’m starting a new part time job after 3 years of being at home with my
kids. I worked for 11 years before staying home and I'm kind of looking forward to getting back into it. I have all kinds of emotions…but excited
and nervous are the two big ones. It’s
the perfect job and I am so thankful for it - thanks Lorie ;)
And a big thank you to everyone who left me several very sweet comments
on instagram yesterday about this new striped jacket that I shared in the picture above. Because it received so much love it became the inspiration for today’s post. I feel like it is a great Spring transitional
look, so I decided to put an outfit together with similar pieces. I actually got the blazer at a friend’s Cabi
party and love it!
I’m
a huge fan of classic pieces and I think this striped blazer will be a great
addition to my wardrobe. Love simple, timeless items.

Congratulations on the new job! I went back to work last year after a decade of super part time (teaching yoga) and SAHM. It is different and takes a different mindset but it has been a good change.
